There is a paid and a free version, I am using the free version at the moment. With the free version, there is a limit as to how many Padlets you can have (3), but you can have so much in one Padlet! For example, one Padlet can be materials to help students stay on track in class and find different dates, outlines, etc. all in one place - kind of like a shared folder. You can also make Padlets for brainstorming in class or at home for the next lesson you are planning. Students then go to this Padlet and add their ideas right to that space! You can also add documents, videos, links, pictures, etc. to the Padlets that enhance discussion, engagement, and understanding! Padlet is a great app to use to encourage collaboration within your classroom and online!
I strongly recommend that educators check Padlet out! Here is a blog post about Padlet and how it can be beneficial to educators! I also encourage other users to leave some tips and tricks! Thanks!
Great app suggestion! I have used padlet only a handful of times but I can see the value that it would bring to a classroom! I like that you can continuously add information, answer questions, and more while being able to view them and share answers. I need to try to set it up for myself as I have only used ones others have set up. I think this would be a great app to use as a teacher and for students to use in projects. I really look forward to trying it out, great post Jess!
